Welcome to My Cornacopia!
My name is Marcea and I’m the founder and main writer for My Cornacopia. I love culturally immersive travel and learning new things. My idea of a great vacation is going to a new place, meeting residents, visiting museums and eating lots of local food.

Cornacopia or Cornucopia?
Someone once told me I was a cornucopia of useless information – and I loved the description. A notoriously bad speller growing up, calling it My Cornacopia was an easy and amusing choice. Don’t let that put you off though. I have a journalism degree and have worked in marketing for over 20 years. And I can spot typos pretty well. I’m also a freelance travel writer and ghostwrite for travel bloggers. If you are looking for writing assistance for your travel publication or want to see how we can partner together, take a look at my portfolio. Then send me an email at hello@mycornacopia.com or fill out the form below so we can talk!
Unique Things to Do
I write a lot about Florida because I’ve lived in the state for most of my life. There’s more to The Sunshine State than some visitors expect. I want to share those unique things to do while you’re here. But My Cornacopia’s motto is “Exploring Florida, the world and everything in between!” So expect stories from my different locations as I check places off my bucket list.
